Solidago is the scientific name for goldenrod, a resilient flower known for its ability to grow in diverse conditions and bring life wherever it takes root. We chose the name Solidago Institute because it reflects what we believe about people and communities: that growth is possible in imperfect conditions, that strength can be gentle, and that transformation begins from within. Like goldenrod, our work is about cultivating resilience, connection, and renewal, helping leaders and organizations not just survive change, but flourish through it.
